Y-Malawi Master Calendar

Welcome to the Y-Malawi Community!

Y-Malawi is a growing group of people and churches dedicated to transformation for the people of Malawi as we mobilize our churches to put faith into action. Our community where we can connect with one another and share our stories, vision and heart for the "Warm Heart of Africa". Please explore these pages and invite others from your church to join us! As you take part, be respectful of our common cause and keep the Y-Malawi Network content and photos focused on Y-Malawi. Many of us are enthusiastically involved with other causes but we would ask that we not use this as a platform for outside promotion. Also be considerate of all our members and use this only as a forum for positive ideas and solutions. Welcome and enjoy!

Using Your Gifts for His Glory

Calling All Faithful Servants!

We are all a part of this community because we believe in the work God is doing in our lives and the lives of those living in communities in Malawi. Whether you have participated in a trip to the Warm Heart of Africa, you have a sponsored child living in a Malawian village, or just have a passion to see spiritual and tangible transformation, you are a part of this community for a reason and God wants to use each of us according to the gifts we have been given to b… Continue

Farming God's Way in Malawi - Oct. 6-21, 2009: Trip Update

Text message from Doug, Oct. 16:

We are packing from Nkhoma today. It was a great stay! We set up 8 demo gardens, and did a lot of repair to the Nutrition Center. We will stay in Lilongwe tonight. Tomorrow is the safari. Everyone is healthy and the weather is great!

By phone from Gary, Oct. 16:

He is tired ... but loving being tired. They had accomplished so much since arriving there. Getting ready to leave for meeting with the village Chief ... then on safari, then 38 hours of flying time ho… Continue

would love to return to malawi

I just had a massive stroke on April 21st and now I am in intensive rehab. The Lord saved me for some reason and I'm sure it was for serving Him again some day in beautiful Malawi. MY previous church just returnrd from their yearly trip to dedicate water wells that they raise money for during the year plus evangelistic outreach.

Devine Appointments!

My team is leaving for our serving trip this Sunday, July 19th. Last Thursday night I awoke from a sound sleep at 3am, I had a very clear message that someone else was supposed to join my team, on this trip, to serve those in Nkhoma. So, Friday I emailed the travel agent and asked her to price one more ticket, leaving the name blank, because CHRIST had not yet revealed to me who the person was.
On Saturday and Sunday during the services Coast Hills pastor, Ken Baugh called the team forward for p… Continue

We've added Groups to The Y-Malawi Network!

Groups is a place where each church or team can establish their own Y-Malawi discussions and networking within the overall community. We can also use this to establish groups around trips, either upcoming or past. Each group can establish their own identity, start discussion forums, etc. Enjoy!
